|carpe omnious|

If you feel dead-
it’s because you aren’t plugged in to life;
so stop sitting, stop staring at the wall,
don’t look down, don’t anticipate the fall-
stand up, plug in, turn it up
and carpe omnious (take it all).

(day one hundred and seventy-eight)

What I’m finding to be the most difficult trait of life is this: we live in a world full of leech-like distractions, cheap thrills and fake people- we allow ourselves to feel worn out on the basest levels, and quite quickly does languor rankle the creative mind.

And for being the middle of the summer, I’m disappointed with the vast number of people that I can never get in touch with and all of the people whom agree that “we need to hang out,” but make no attempt to realize it. That’s the general problem with our society. Talk is never followed through. And that is probably the case because of the aforementioned trait.

A little irking, to say the least.

Viens avec moi?
xx
